Teams Life Centre (TLC) was created in 2015 when Dunston Family Church, a local registered charity, obtained a 30 year lease from Gateshead Metropolitan Borough Council to operated the building, formerly known as Teams Community Centre, for the benefit of local residents. The building has had a long history of being an attraction in the local community, and this continues to be the case under its new management. This section of the website will give you a flavour of the history of the Teams, Gateshead, where TLC is situated.

Then: "I was brought up in Wilson Street, Teams, just behind the Beaconsfield
Hotel. Nobody called it that though. It was always "The Donnie"
Just down the road was the old Forester's Arms always known as " The
Coffin " glad you have an old picture of that one. The new Foresters
used to have pictures of the old one on their wall.
My mother worked in both of these and in many others around the town."
